These terms are between you (the shop or person using TechDesk) and TechDesk (“we”), made in Nigeria. By using the TechDesk app, TechDesk Monitor or this website, you agree to them. How we handle data is in our privacy policy.
Using TechDesk
- You can use TechDesk free. Some features need a Business or Enterprise plan.
- You're responsible for what you and your workers enter, for keeping your password and PIN private, and for who you give access to.
- Use TechDesk lawfully. Don't try to break, overload, copy or resell the service, or get into other people's accounts or data.
- You must have the right to store your customers' details, and use them only to serve those customers.
Plans and payment
- Business and Enterprise are yearly plans for one device's PIN (and, for Enterprise, head office branches). The price is shown before you pay, in naira, and paid through Flutterwave.
- A plan runs for the period shown at purchase. When it ends, the device goes back to the free features; your records stay.
- While we're testing, upgrades may be free. Free test plans end when we start taking payments; we'll say so in the app first.
- Activation codes we give you are for the device they were made for. Don't share or sell them.
- Refunds: if you were charged and didn't get your plan, or were charged twice, contact us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you.
- Prices can change for new purchases. A plan you've already paid for keeps its price until it ends.
Your data
- Your shop's records belong to you. We store synced records only to provide the service, as our privacy policy describes.
- Keep backups (Settings → Device → Backup). TechDesk works offline and keeps data on your device; a lost, reset or broken device without a backup or sync can mean lost records.
- You can delete your account at any time at www.techdesk.space/delete-account.
Voice orders and other AI features
Voice orders use AI to suggest actions from what you say. AI can mishear or get things wrong, so nothing is saved until you check and confirm it. You're responsible for what you confirm. Daily limits apply and may change.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TechDesk running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, especially the parts that need the internet. We may change, add or remove features, and may pause a feature for everyone if it's misbehaving. We'll tell you in the app about changes that matter.
Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk, or misuses payments, and we'll tell you why where we can. You can stop using TechDesk at any time.
Responsibility
TechDesk is provided “as is”. Check important figures (money owed, stock, reports) against your own records before relying on them. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or business, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here removes rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we have a disagreement, let's first try to sort it out by talking: techdeskapp@gmail.com, WhatsApp +234 807 691 1614.
